As part of putting you in control of your data and privacy, Medipin gives you the ability to permanently delete your account. Read this article carefully to fully understand what happens when your account is deleted.
About deleting your account
Warning: Deleting your account is completely permanent and will delete all conversations, settings, and account. Conversations shared with people or Channels will not be accessible after deletion. We are not able to recover deleted accounts or conversations.
When your account is deleted, the account details, conversations, and data associated with your account are permanently deleted from Medipin’s servers.
Even after account deletion, we will retain certain limited account information, such as email, solely for accounting and administrative purposes.
You can't sign in to the account, and you won’t be able to access any data, content, or services that were associated with the account.
Conversations and other content are permanently deleted.
Deleting your account is permanent. After your account is deleted, Medipin can't reopen or reactivate the account nor restore your data. If you have an active subscription and aren’t using your account right now, but may consider returning to it in the future, we recommend canceling the subscription instead of deleting the account.
How to permanently delete your account
Using the mobile app
Open the Medipin mobile app.
Tap the menu button above ‘Settings’in the upper corner.
On the expanded menu, click your name in the profile section.
In the Account section, select Delete account.
Tap Send OTP and continue.
A final confirmation message will appear. Please read carefully to understand what will happen to your account when you delete it. To proceed with the permanent deletion of your account, enter the OTP and tap Verify and continue.
Your account is permanently deleted. No further action is required.
